i had to put my 14 year old cat down yesterday and it’s been the worst 36 hours of my life it doesn’t feel real. he’s been my best friend since i was 8. i’m heartbroken and i don’t know how to deal with it. i went home early from work bc i couldn’t stop crying tonight. he passed peacefully, leaning into me while my mom and i cradled him. i just can’t handle this. i want him back
